Hi! I’m Morgan!

I’m a recent Indiana University graduate with experience in public relations, digital media, storytelling, and communications. I’m drawn to work that brings people, brands, and stories together, especially when there’s an opportunity to turn an idea into something people genuinely want to engage with. I love learning what makes people care about a story, why certain ideas stick, and how the right message can turn something ordinary into something memorable.

Outside of work, I’m probably doing something that gives me an excuse to talk about media. You can usually find me at a concert, discovering a new artist, making an unnecessarily specific playlist for a very specific mood, planning my next trip with my boyfriend, or watching a movie that I’ll inevitably overanalyze afterward. I’m a big believer that the things we listen to, watch, and experience become part of the stories we tell about ourselves, which is probably why I’m so interested in creating stories for a living.

The Internet Made Me Who I Am

Before I was studying media, I was spending an alarming amount of time on the internet consuming it.

From Tumblr and fandoms to discovering music, obsessing over movies and finding extremely specific online communities, the internet has shaped a huge part of how I experience media. It taught me how quickly people can build communities around shared interests and probably explains a lot about why I ended up studying media in the first place.

So, naturally, I made a presentation about it.
